Studio Underd0g brings its playful approach to watchmaking to the UAE with the new 03SERIES Chan3ad (Kingfish), created in partnership with Ahmed Seddiqi. Born from the brand’s first appearance at Dubai Watch Week in 2025, the collaboration takes inspiration from the Chan3ad, a prized gamefish found in UAE waters, translating its distinctive colours and textures into a limited-edition chronograph of just 100 pieces.
The fish-inspired details are cleverly woven throughout the design. A twin-layer dial pairs a blue-grey dégradé upper layer recalling the Chan3ad’s scales with a pale pink layer referencing its flesh, while touches of yellow on the chronograph hands nod to the lemon traditionally served alongside it. Eastern Arabic numerals circle the dial, adding another distinctly regional detail, while the watch is paired with an unusual black salmon leather strap sourced from Iceland, with a Milanese mesh bracelet also included.
Inside the 38.5mm stainless-steel case sits the manually wound Sellita SW510-M monopusher chronograph, customised for Studio Underd0g with a Côte de Genève, ruthenium anthracite-finished bridge and a 63-hour power reserve. Individually numbered from 1 to 100 and assembled at Studio Underd0g’s British facility, The D0ghouse, the Chan3ad combines the microbrand’s irreverent design language with a strong sense of place and local storytelling. Priced at AED 9,600, it will be available exclusively through Ahmed Seddiqi retailers.
