The collection that the Maison is most renowned for is the Excalibur. Excalibur is all about technical excellence, extravagant audacity and watchmaking mastery as well as powerful design. The first pieces were launched in 2005 and to date it remains a Roger Dubuis signature icon.
For Excalibur it is all about expressing who you are without conforming to rules of sizes, colors, straps or materials. Non-conforming is basically a choice.
The latest ladies Excalibur models have a rock chic allure. The sassy studded leather is in line with the brands appeal to women who are both bold and daring. These women pieces are available in pink and white gold with a diamond set bezel and lugs.
Roger Dubuis want to apply a genderless approach to watchmaking, by creating timepieces that cater to both men and women, without necessarily segmenting them, and this is how the Excalibur Blacklight is born. In this timepiece, the Roger Dubuis Astral skeleton movement gives the impression of a 3D mechanical sculpture. You can particularly see this glow under UV light which makes the motif look like its floating in the case. This technology is used for one of the first times in the watchmaking industry.
The timepiece is visually extremely impressive as it has multiple angles and layers that can catch any discerning eye.
