Historiques 222

In keeping with the spirit of the Historiques collection, this new watch highlights Vacheron Constantin’s rich aesthetic and cultural heritage through a modern reinterpretation. Vacheron Constantin is reissuing its legendary 222, launched originally in 1977 for the 222nd anniversary of the Maison. Among the various existing 222 references, the one chosen to mark the return of the legend was the Reference 44018 in 18K 3N gold with a 37 mm diameter.

“Les Royaumes Aquatiques” Les Cabinotiers Grisaille — Turtle

This single-edition Les Cabinotiers Grisaille – Turtle timepiece reinterprets this special oceanic atmosphere on the dial, depicting a green turtle in a maritime décor adorned with coral created using two rare techniques: miniature painting and grisaille enamel. Self- winding Calibre 2460 SC, developed and crafted by Vacheron Constantin, is housed in a 40 mm-diameter 18K white gold case with an officer-type back.

“Les Royaumes Aquatiques” Les Cabinotiers Minute Repeater Tourbillion — Flying Dutchman

This single-piece edition Les Cabinotiers minute repeater and tourbillon watch was inspired by the Flying Dutchman and his ghost ship. Intricately interpreted on a dial in miniature enamel painting and grisaille enamel, the ship sails into the heart of the storm on raging waves. The in-house developed and produced Manufacture Calibre 2755 TMR is regulated by a one-minute tourbillon and equipped with a minute repeater mechanism.

“Les Royaumes Aquatiques” Les Cabintoires Tourbillon Jewellery — Sea Horse

Vacheron Constantin offers a deep-sea dive to discover the mystery of the sea horse. Concealed in the ocean fauna, the sea horse is made of cloisonné enamel with gem-set fins against a partially guilloché dial background. The case and lugs have been trimmed to accommodate the bezel set in a sapphire colour gradient. This single-piece edition is powered by Calibre 2160, an ultra-thin self-winding tourbillon movement developed and crafted by Vacheron Constantin.

True to its imaginative approach to High Watchmaking, the Manufacture has combined a minute repeater and a split-seconds monopusher chronograph within a single tourbillon-regulated timepiece.
